EMDR Therapy

EMDR is a form of therapy that helps clients process past trauma. EMDR targets memory that may be stuck the body, sending us into Fight, Flight, Freeze or Fawn mode which puts us in our emergency or trauma response mode. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation in order to keep our logic brain online so that we may reprocess difficult memories or cognitions.

EMDR may be appropriate for:

  • PTSD

  • Complex PTSD (CPTSD)/Relational Trauma

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Chronic Pain

  • Disordered Eating
